Our main focus is PHP, but we also work with other related technologies that make up the web application stack. We use a variety of PHP frameworks, depending on the project and have solid experience in CodeIgniter and many popular PHP libraries.

PHP is a general purpose, server side scripting language originally designed for use in web development to produce pages with dynamic content. It’s low barrier to entry has contributed to its success over the years and it powers a huge proportion of web sites. As specialists in PHP, NUROWorks make extensive use of the language to deliver complex web applications.

JavaScript is an essential component of modern web application development. It first appeared at around the same time as PHP as part of the Netscape, but it has since been adopted by all major browser vendors. It is most commonly executed in the browser rather than server side (although server side JavaScript is becoming more common due to the popularisation of node.js).

AngularJS is an open-source web application framework maintained by Google to address many of the challenges encountered in developing single-page applications. It aims to simplify both the development and the testing of such applications by providing a framework for client-side model–view–controller (MVC) and model-view-viewmodel (MVVM) architectures, along with components commonly used in rich Internet applications. Basically we love using it because it allows us to do some really cool stuff.

Our Software Stack
Building on the traditional LAMP stack, we use a variety of different pieces of technology to build web applications. The majority of our work is done on the Linux operating system (Redhat, Debian and other derivatives). The web server is either Apache or Nginx and the database will typically be MySQL.

CMS Platforms
When it comes to website content management systems we are very experienced in Joomla. Let us develop any Joomla modules, components or plugins you require.
